THREE BIRDS

Three Little Birds
Los Angeles, CA,
Location: 5242 W Adams Blvd
Medium: Spray paint and acrylic on stucco
Three Little Birds is a public tribute to Bob Marley, created to honor the quiet strength and reassurance embedded in his music. Installed on a corner wall along West Adams Boulevard, the mural features Marley surrounded by florals and three birds in motion. It is a visual interpretation of the song’s central message: “Every little thing is gonna be alright.”
The work was completed in collaboration with the property owner with the shared intention of offering a point of calm in a city that moves fast. The mural’s placement in a transitional neighborhood was intentional. West Adams continues to evolve, and this piece is meant to feel like an anchor in the midst of that change.
The birds are not decorative. They act as witnesses and carriers of peace. The surrounding blooms speak to growth, resilience, and softness within the built environment.
The mural was executed using spray paint and acrylic for durability and texture. It remains open to public view and was designed to integrate with the rhythm of the street. It can be discovered in motion or revisited slowly over time.
